Custom Sauna & Wellness Remodels in Lake Mary, FL
Lake Mary's mix of executive homes, gated communities, and newer luxury construction has made it one of Central Florida's strongest markets for at-home wellness investment.
BittnerSweet Co is a family-owned, Orlando-based design-build contractor bringing custom sauna, steam room, salt therapy, and home gym build-outs — along with kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home renovations — to Lake Mary, FL homeowners, with the same in-house team from first design sketch to final walkthrough.
Why Lake Mary Homeowners Are Investing in Custom Wellness Spaces
More of our Lake Mary consultations now start with a wellness question first — a private infrared sauna off the primary suite, a steam room built into an existing bathroom footprint, a converted bonus room turned into a home gym with recovery equipment — rather than a kitchen or bath as the opening ask. That shift tracks with a broader move among higher-income Central Florida homeowners toward building spa-level amenities at home
instead of relying on a gym membership or the occasional spa visit.
Because BittnerSweet designs and builds under one roof, a wellness addition gets planned alongside the plumbing, electrical, and ventilation changes it actually requires — rather than discovered mid-project, once a sauna kit shows up and the framing doesn't
support it.

Frequently Asked Questions — Lake Mary Wellness & Home Remodeling
Can you add a custom sauna or steam room to an existing Lake Mary home?
Yes — this is one of our fastest-growing project types in Lake Mary. We handle the framing, ventilation,
electrical, and waterproofing changes a sauna or steam room needs as part of one planned project, not an
add-on afterthought.
Do you build home gyms or recovery spaces as part of a wellness remodel?
Yes. We design and build integrated home gym and recovery spaces — flooring, mirrors, equipment electrical, and layout — often alongside a sauna or steam room in the same project.
Can you also remodel a kitchen or bathroom while working on my wellness space?
Yes. Many Lake Mary projects combine a wellness addition with a bathroom or whole-home update — see our

scope larger combined projects.
